Sycamores' Bowman Earns Offensive Lineman Gateway Conference Honor

TERRE HAUTE, IN (10-16-2002) —Senior offensive tackle Eric Bowman has been named as the Gateway Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week for his play the week of Oct. 12. Bowman graded-out the highest among Sycamore lineman in Indiana State's 23-20 win over SMS this past Saturday. Playing at left guard, the native Texan had key blocks on each of the Sycamores' two rushing TD's, both of which went around left end.

The Sycamores (3-4/1-1 GFC) continue Gateway Conference play this weekend when they visit Western Illinois, 1:05 p.m., in Macomb, IL.
