CROWN POINT (10-16-2009) -  In what was an evenly played game for most of the first half, the game was tied at 3-3 with the Bulldogs appearing to have pinned the Wolves deep in their own territory with a third-and-14 play from their 20-yard line.

That's when junior quarterback Rodney Washington, back after missing three games with an injury, connected on a 59-yard pass to Tracy Rivera to set up the Wolves 1st-and-10 at Crown Point's 18-yard line and three plays later senior running back Adam Harmon scored on a 2-yard run.  Less than a minute later Harmon scored from 17-yards out, after the Wolves recovered the kick-off that had deflected off the foot of a Bulldog kick returner.

It was 17-3 at the half and the Wolves added two more touchdowns and a second Dustin Rivich field goal in the second half to make the final score 35-3.

DOG NOTES:  The Bulldogs will host Chesterton in the first round of the Class 5A, Sectional 1 playoffs next Friday, Oct. 23, 2009.  Kick-off is at 7:00 p.m.  Live play-by-play Internet radio coverage will be provided by the team at www.USA-365.com.
