With
the win, Chesterton improves their overall mark to 19-2, 5-2 in the Duneland
Athletic Conference, while Crown Point dropped to 12-10, 2-5 in the DAC.
For the Lady Bulldogs, this marked their second straight lost, including a 39-36
defeat by Kankakee Valley three nights earlier.
Chesterton has had a great season, but we have to play a complete game and not
three and a half quarters, Crown Point Head Coach Chris Seibert said. The
important thing is to move forward and play our best basketball.
LADY DOG NOTES: The loss against Chesterton marked the final home
regular season game for Crown Point closed out the season at 5-7 in their own
building.
Following the regular season finale against Bishop Noll on Jan. 23, Crown Point
will play host to the Class 4A, Sectional 1 tournament between January 30 and
February 3. The Lady Bulldogs drew a quarterfinal bye in the seven team
sectional which includes Lake Central, Lowell, Munster, Highland, Morton and
East Chicago Central.

If Crown Point wins, they advance to the sectional title game Saturday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. (Pregame show at 6:45 p.m.)
