The crowd at the Lowell stadium (and the press box) was at a standing room only level Saturday night as the Devils faced Bishop Dwenger of Fort Wayne. (All photos by Mark Smith) Bishop Dwenger quarterback Wade Markley (12) didn't always have a lot of time to throw against the Lowell defense.  (All photos by Mark Smith)

Mike Sekuloski (55) talks over defensive strategy late in the playoff game Saturday.  Sekuloski returned an interception that was deflected by his brother Chris, a Lowell safety, to set up the game winning field goal. Brandon Grubbe (6) and former Lowell star Jeff Barker, celebrate on the field after the final play. Barker played for the Red Devils 2005 state title team.  Lowell's Ray Skamay (14) and Joe Bell (34) don't want to leave the field after the Devils upset Bishop Dwenger 24-21.
Lowell defensive ends Joe Bell (34) and Nate Cleveland (26) put the rush on Dwenger's Wade Markley but he gets the screen pass away to halfback Remound Wright (20). Boge Pejoski (61) was the hero as his 24-yard field goal with 4:33 to play boosted the Devils past Bishop Dwenger 24-21 and into the state title game.
Dwenger linebacker Nick McCarthy (40) tries to put the stop on this run by Lowell's Jordan Juarez (7).
