"I am very excited about the opportunity to lead our team into spring practice," West said. "We have a lot of redemption to do this year. Our players can do better, and redeem ourselves this season. We have a lot of work ahead of us, and going through this practice is the only way that we can get better. This spring we are going to be playing a lot of kids. Don’t look for us to be redshirting anyone. We are going to do whatever it takes to get our 11 best players on the field on both sides of the ball this season."
Fans interested in attending practice are requested to call the ISU Football Office at (812) 237-4074 before the day of the practice.
ISU’s 11-game schedule for 2006 will be released in the coming days.
