HAUTE, IN (11-19-2004) – The

right foot with a 70-46 win over Coastal Carolina Friday (Nov. 19) night at
Hulman Center.
Junior guard David Moss led all scorers with 24 points. Senior forward Amani Daanish also scored in double figures for the Sycamores, adding 12 points and bringing down eight rebounds.
Jack Leasure led Coastal Carolina with 16 points. Clint Nagel led the Chanticleers with six rebounds. Coastal Carolina was plagued by 19 turnovers, while ISU turned the ball over 14 times.
The Sycamores jumped out to a quick 17-3 lead eight minutes into the contest. Coastal Carolina cut the lead to 11 with 9:01 in the first half, but that was as close as they would get. ISU went into the locker room with a 20 point advantage, 39-19, and never looked back.
ISU (1-0) out-rebounded the Chanticleers 32-36, and held Coastal Carolina to just 37 percent shooting from the field (17-46). The Chanticleers' 46 points are the fewest scored by an opponent in an ISU win since January 5, 2001 when ISU beat Evansville 45-40.
