WWLO, 89.1 FM to broadcast all IU Hoosiers Football games during 2007 season

CROWN POINT, IN (08-31-2007) - Meyer Multimedia Services on behalf of American Family Radio and Lakeshore Public Broadcasting Corporation have entered into an agreement to broadcast all Indiana University football games during the upcoming 2007 college season on WWLO (89.1) FM, licensed to Lowell, IN.

This Saturday's (Sept. 1) Indiana versus Indiana State football game will be the first ever college football broadcast over WWLO, 89.1 FM. The pregame show is set for 6:00 p.m. (CT) and the kick-off is at 7:00 p.m., CT (8:00 p.m., ET).

WWLO is a Christian radio station broadcasting programming of the American Family Radio (AFR) network 24 hours a day. Meyer Multimedia Services is a division of Meyer Broadcasting Corporation, which is owned by John Meyer, the former owner of WWJY (103.9) FM in Crown Point. Meyer announced the agreement with American Family Radio and Learfield Communications this week on the eve of the gridiron season opener. Learfield is the programming provider for the Hoosier Radio Network, featuring the longtime play-by-play voice of Don Fischer.

Lakeshore Public Broadcasting (WYIN, Channel 56) will be providing marketing, engineering, promotion and production support to help facilitate the IU Football broadcasts on WWLO - 89.1 FM in Northwest Indiana.
