CROWN POINT (04-20-2016) Giving-up three runs in the first inning did not do-in the Crown Point Bulldogs. They scored runs in each of the first four innings, seven in the first two, in a big DAC win over the Lake Central Indians 11-4.

Besides getting it done on the mound, senior starting pitcher Mark Mazure also got it done at the plate. His two-run homer in the second inning helped contribute to five runs in the second inning.

The win for the Bulldogs came a day after they traveled to Lake Central, a 2-0 shutout win for the Indians. That game featured six total base hits combined for both teams. This time, the two teams added-up 20 total hits.

With the win, the Bulldogs improve to one game over the .500 mark on the season.
