CROWN POINT (5-04-2015) Backed by a productive fifth inning and consistent pitching by Alexis Holloway, the Lady Bulldogs completed a season sweep of the Lake Central Indians with a 9-0 win. Lake Central had two golden opportunities, leaving runners in scoring position to close out the fourth and then vacating the bases loaded to end the fifth.

The Bulldogs came-up with two runs in the third, but put the game out of reach with a five-run fifth-inning that sent multiple hitters to the plate. Miranda Elish went 5 for 5 with three runs scored, while Rachael Honaker had two hits with three RBIs.

Lady Bulldogs score 5 in 5th to put game out of reach in 9-0 win over LC
